About

Clinical Therapist licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Florida

In my role as a psychotherapist, I am committed to helping children, adolescents, and adults overcome an array of mental health and psychological challenges. It is my belief that each person has the capacity to fully step into what they experience as a life worth living; and my mission is to partner with each client in this pursuit, in the therapy room and in all contexts of life.

I specialize in treating depression, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and related disorders, as well as helping individuals navigate transitions in everyday living. As a strong believer in providing therapy that brings clients towards achieving concrete and lifelong goals, I utilize evidence based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), each of which I was trained in by psychiatrist Dr. Charles Swenson, and Harvard psychologist, Dr. David Rosmarin, respectively.

As we continue to navigate increased levels of uncertainty as a world, and in our lives, I strive to help individuals both understand and change their patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior so that this uncertainty does not stymie their potential for personal growth and evolution.

My work focuses on helping clients learn to regulate strong emotions, face fears, and break through perceived limitations, in work, relationships, and everyday living. I take a strength-based approach to therapy and strive to help each client find success, meaning, joy, and growth in all areas of life.

On a final note, I am the founder of Therapy in the City, PLLC, where I coach and supervise clinicians in providing quality, evidence-based care. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a consultant and board member of Teen Health 101.
