    Has anyone ever felt during a therapy session whether you were the client or the professional and something came up that was very tough?

    Recently, I unfortunately experienced something like that and I texted my therapist today to say how annoyed I am about the situation that I had with a particular therapist. I honestly knew that I wasn’t using my DBT skills because I was so stuck on the situation.

    I decided to email the therapist who was in a conflict with me, and she hasn’t emailed me back. I feel like she will only talk about it with me during our session which will then cause some harder feelings for me.

    I am so happy to just be open to a forum where none judges and everything is anonymous.

    I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of how I should manage my emotions while in session with my therapist if I didn’t get any email back from her.

    I just need to be prepared with some ideas.

    My appointment is at 5:30 p.m. EST.
