    So much of how we parent is based on how we were parented. “Parenting from the Inside Out: How a Deeper Self-Understanding Can Help You Raise Children Who Thrive” by Daniel J. Siegel MD and Mary Hartzell, M. Ed is a great book that helps parents understand how their own parenting and past life experiences influence their current parenting style.
