    Does anyone else suffer with depersonalization and derealization and disassociation ? It comes from extreme anxiety and panic?

    I had times where I felt out of body and disoriented, to the point where it was extremely unsettling and even a little scary.

    My therapist recommended that I find 5 senses or 5 things to point out to whenever I’m in a new environment. It helped ground me (even if for a few seconds to a minute).

    Or maybe you can do the 5-4-3-2-1.

    5 things you see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can taste etc.
