About

Are You Looking for Nonjudgmental Support and Acceptance?

Therapy can be a helpful way to learn about yourself and find a new approach to problems that have seemed overwhelming on your own. Many people come to me with issues like these:

• Feeling anxious, depressed, or down on themselves
• Being stuck in a dysfunctional or abusive relationship
• Stress, anger, shame, and loneliness
• An endless cycle of procrastination or being unmotivated

They want to work with a therapist who will make them feel seen and heard, as well as someone with useful techniques and insights empowering them to make changes.

Personally, I enjoy supporting people in this way because I value one-on-one connections with other humans and can empathize with your struggles and emotional pain. I am also a naturally inquisitive person who continually seeks out new information about human nature and science, applying what I learn to the unique circumstances of my individual clients.

I am a person-centered therapist. This means that I always strive to offer a nonjudgmental and supportive space for my clients, to be genuine as a human being in a therapeutic relationship, and to remain self-aware regarding how my own feelings and experiences can influence the therapy process.

I strive to be culturally sensitive with every client. My therapeutic approach varies according to the unique context of your life, your personality, and your current needs. In addition to creating a therapy atmosphere that feels encouraging and accepting, I will provide you with concrete tools and skills that you can use outside of therapy to gain a sense of greater control over your own life.

If this resonates with you, we may be a good therapeutic fit.
