Jewish Therapist in New York, NY
I have always loved helping others which has led me to pursue a career in counseling. I worked in a variety of mental health settings, including drug rehabilitation, crisis intervention, and pastoral counseling, which inspired me to get my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Touro College. I did my internship under the guidance of Lana Gaiton, PhD, and upon graduation in 2015, I continued to work for her as a counselor serving the wider community of Brooklyn.
I like to use a variety of techniques and modalities of psychotherapy, such as cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, existential, solution-focused, and trauma-focused. I try to offer my clients empathic listening, acceptance, and genuine caring. I see adults, adolescents, and children and love working with all ethnicities and cultures.
