Jewish therapist serving Boca Raton, FL

***Not accepting new clients at this time***

I believe each person is a multi-layered world comprised of a unique personality make-up, set of lived experiences, and core perspectives and values. My goal is to create a warm environment in which we can explore how your challenges can not only be worked through and overcome, but used to build authentic self-understanding. Together we will work to gain insight into what truly lies at the root of your struggles, as well as learn how they can be more healthily addressed and placed within a broader picture of your character strengths and personal goals.

I draw from a variety of clinical theories and interventions in order to provide a targeted therapeutic process that takes into account your individual nature and goals. I have been privileged to train in a variety of clinical psychology and research settings including the Center for Anxiety in New York, the JPSYCH Lab, Palm Partners Treatment Center, and Transformations Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center in Delray Beach, Florida where I currently serve as adjunct therapist.

I also believe in the importance of examining how our spiritual/religious beliefs impact well-being (and vice versa!) and have therefore been involved in research on Judaism and psychology and co-authored several peer reviewed articles and book chapters on this topic. I am particularly passionate about research on personality and religious/spiritual identity.

More important than any clinical intervention itself is finding a therapist you truly connect with and trust. I know this can be an overwhelming process in and of itself and I would love the opportunity to speak with you for a complimentary consultation to learn more about you what you are hoping to gain out of treatment.
